4-Grain Flakes
4-Grain Flakes are made from whole grain rye, wheat, oat and barley so the flakes are high in fibre. Grains are dehulled, heat treated, cutted and rolled to flakes. 4-Grain Flakes can be used for porridges and desserts. Good and tasty in baking. Can also be used as such with yoghurt, sour milk and muesli.
INGREDIENTS: Whole grain rye, whole grain wheat, whole grain oat, whole grain barley.
1 dl of Myllyn Paras 4-Grain Flakes weights about 35 g.
Cooking instructions:
4-Grain porridge
for 1 portion
100 ml 4-Grain Flakes
200 ml Water, Milk or Juice
Bring the water (milk/juice) to a boil in a saucepan and add the 4-Grain flakes. Cook for four minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand for one minute. Serve with salt, sugar, honey, butter, berries or marmalade.
